Hey guys,

I am going to be doing a d16z6 swap in my car pretty soon, don't want to be dealing with smog here in CA. I have some questions.

When I bought the car (90 hatch) it came with ZC swap, how is wiring that up different than wiring up an a6? I will be using a p28 ecu, and converting it obd0 to obd1. The z6 will be coming with the wiring harness would it easier to just swap it out the harness?

I have an old d16a6 motor laying around with a blown headgasket (very blown). I was going to pull out the pistons later today and check its condition. If still good, im going to get them cleaned from a friend of mines that taking mechanic classes at the local college. If i do put these pistons in how will it effect my smog?

use the harness that is on the car - rewire the distributor - use conversion harness for VTEC

I have been doing some research, would it be easier just to stay obd0?
But how about the dizzy will a ZC dizzy work?
