Sup guys i just got a black s2k and had some nice races on freeway, im sure a lot of people have wondered if s2k is any good with evo Mr or srt 4. Well my bro has a Mr and friend has srt4. srt-4 its a head head race from 60 + same ****. but evo Mr just keeps pulling and pulling lol. But S2k is better then i thought it would be and im happy to have one. Leme know about 350z's vs s2k's or any other cars.
Im looking for a 350z to race, cant ******* find one. And can a 98 body m3 win a s2k? Cuz some guy was talking ****, but just like normal, wont back his **** up.... Hes like u want me to race with that peac of ****, .... Whata di** huh lol...

 

hmmm a Z has about 40 hp on the s2k and its 6cyl but quite a bit heavier........i raced one about 3 nights ago..... i got blown away....might i add tho my car is stock...

 

how bad, and what u start off in? speed and gear till what speed?

 

we started at a redlight so the start was fair.. i stayed with him till 3rd and then boom he was gone....

actually my video and other videos have proven that the s is quicker down low and the z starts to dominate after 80 mph

 

The S2000 turns pretty well too.

 

Yeah you might try turning, works wonders lol. Anyways on the Z you will lose on the highway, the M3 is neck to neck with you.

BTW I dont race on the street nor on the 1/4th but these are the general outcomes.

I've destroyed plenty of 350z's, G35's, Mustangs, M3's. Pulled about 3 cars on an 03 M3 modded.

damn thx for those pics, scared me lol. Ima cut down, cuz i dont have a lot of miles yet. But i was wondering s2k goes with m3? and what about the old body m3s? 98 body. and how about a sti. cuz i kept up perty good with my bros Evo Mr. Can i go head head with sti?

Sorry dude but bs flag has to go up... A 13.7 second S2000 isn't beating an 03 M3 even with a half-competent driver, no way in hell by 3 cars.

13.7 @ 100 stock..
And I talked to the guy after the race also. He was also modded. The guy supposedly had a Supercharged S too. I've beaten plenty of cars that the S2000 isn't supposed to beat, but I've done it multiple times.

 

how do you launch the car? i am planning on hitting the track sometime this week or so its raining right now but how do you launch it? does the e-brake method work? or you used another way.

btw people, if you know hwo to drive the car you can take a Z. A Z isn't any faster than a s2k. I have raced a Z and a 96 body Vette at the same time 3 way race and the outcome was me ahead of both. If you run the Z from a rolling start at about 2-3rpms yea it'll take the S i have driven a Z and it just picks up and very low rpms as if it was nothing but if the S is in VTEC it'll pull on the Z and the S is pretty damn good on the freeway.

Last time i checked this is a s2000 fourm, so do u just go around talking **** to everyone. and i dont do anything crazy. a roll from 60-90 isnt that bad and i watch and only race when there is no traffic. If u want go chat about like honda Cr-v's so u dont hear about raceing. And again i dont do anything dumb that i will regreat.

 

ey Al, its ed with the white s2k, just a lil heads up, ppl on HONDA-TECH dont like racing or anything that has to do with going over the speed limit so posting about cars you beat will end up in a flame war. if anything, go to S2ki.com ppl there usually speak what they feel and dont jump on teh bandwagon. Just a better site due to the people and the environment. People on this board act lke they never raced a damn car in their lives.

 

A couple good points made on this forum, but I still think you're gonna get flamed. Let me be the first.

1) Its not the car. You're in Glendale, and I'm willing to come show you. PM me and we'll do a run from Mt. Wilson Observatory to the bottom. You wont ever break highway speed limit. It takes sooooo much skills to fly through a sweeper on a highway, and I'm sure you cut accross 4 lanes to clip the apex. Don't tell me you even "drift" the onramps and offramps!

Ill probably get flamed for that one too, but *** it!

2) Those who engage in "speed contests" on streets in California and get caught get their car impounded, have 5 business days to buy it back before it gets crushed or auctioned. Pull and rev at me all you want, because all you get in return is a out the window. I already bought this damn thing once, I'm not buying it again unless its MY07+.

LOL its a bandwagon now to NOT applaud street racing? Wow grow up please, I am also on s2ki and I dont think they condone street racing as well. Take it to the tracks, your 20 or 30 bux spent there will probally save a life or two on the streets.

why is it that street racing is always the issue in lives lost but old people driving or people who cna't drive and dont know how to is NEVER an issue? if you look at the statistics i bet the lives lost from S.R. is no where near the ones from ignorant ppl, drunk drivers, ppl who dont know how to drive we just poke at S.R. cuz hey they are kids/teenagers and everyone looks at kids to be ignorant or irresponsible. i mean personally i do race i am not going to lie but after many tickets and suspensions i dont have the same ***** i used to and honestly race if it happens out o fhte blue you know for a quick minute but if its planned and **** i dont really do it anymore i dont want to risk my license or car anymore cuz i got my car impounded for S.R. about 3 months ago and that was more then enough for me to learn.
