air/fuel ratio reset
i remeber reading somewhere that after you install a intake that u can unplug a fuse i think it was called a hazard or somethin, then let the car idle for 10 min, shut the car off and plug in the fuse again? does this sound correct? plz tell me the correct way to recalibrate ur ecu thru a method like that.
pull the ecu fuse, or disconnect the battery,
for about 5 min then put it back in start the car let it idle for 10 without hitting anything, and nothing on, (ac, radio)
then shut her off, and done.
you dont have to do this, After a month the ecu will automaticly read the difference and self adjust.

We disconnected the negative terminal off the battery for 10 seconds and the ECU reset itself.

no the hazard is a 10 amp in the main fuse box and the ECU is a 15 amp again in the main fuse box. pull both and the ECU has no power what so ever.
also if u pull the ECU fues out that will kill the motor. if u want a cool engine imoblizer hook up a relay to that fuse to ground when it fires from a time delay it will cut power to ECU killing motor and blow fuse then motor wont start
