I would like to make a thread to share knowledge about CRX Parts on Ebay.

Ebay search supports Strings and Boolean terminology.

Search strings are PLUS and MINUS signs that you use in front of words.

+ means MUST contain
- means MUST NOT contain
"quotes" means this exact phrase

<u>Examples:</u>

Must contain:

crx +hood

This is the same as typing:

crx hood

However Must Not contain is where this begins to show its usefulness:

crx -muffler -projector -shifter -emblem -key -watch -keychain -phone -hid -tip -led

This yeilds items containing crx, and NOT things with the minus sign in front of them. Try your own combinations to either broaden or narrow the search even further.

Combination:

crx hood -carbon

Shows hoods, but not carbon fiber.

crx tail -altezza -chrome -euro -carbon

Take that, damn rice.

Ebay search is horrible at handling plurals and mispellings.

All of these are considered different to ebay:

tail
tails
tail light
taillights

...you get the idea.

Lately, eBay will search for plurals of some words. Try it for seat or wheel. I'm sure it's true for others, too.

Yup does the same for me. Makes it a bit easier.
