Default h22a question

I know there are alot of people with a JDM h22, Which i am purchasing real real soon.I will post some pics during the swap and after. But with this what should a normal quater mile time be.Stock 1992 prelude normal manual shifting skills wont say im really good at it but I personally think im pretty good.I was just wondering what a normal quarter time would be for this motor (h22a).

Don't expect any crazy results. You'll most likley be in the really low 15's...

Ludes are heavy, learn to deal with it.

Ludes are fat cars, and yes I do mean fat as in heavy. They will never be quater mile mosters as much as I wish they were. Seems to me like nice clean looking cars always have a draw back, like ludes look sooooo beautiful but they are chuby.

Make sure you research up on what you are getting into. when I first got into this "game" I thought..."oh this will be easy". yea my swap took 3 weeks. I had to order a million parts. And do things the right way....spend some money to replace everything you can (timing belt, water pump, ect...)

where are you getting your motor from?

Best of luck!

Depends on the elevation of the track too. You should be good for low to mid 15"s. Just practice...

Low 15's at first and once you get used to the motor it should do high 14's. It took me a couple times to the track before i broke into the 14's.
