I got into an accident a while back and i basically needed a new front end, I got the front end from a 94 gsr, well the car's color is Paradise Blue(green to me) and I took it to my "boys" friend "the body shop guy" . This SOB told me he would charge me $1300 to just paint from the doors up to the front end, mind you guys this is "the hook up" and he wants me to put in the parts , so basically he is charging me $1300 just to prime and paint. I thinks that is to much, well I need your input guys, by the way he got my "friend" a carbon fiber hood a new front bumper a new fenders and painted the whole car candy apple red for $1500.

i know a shop that does good work in queens, ny
900 for the whole car, lifetime warranty except bumpers
3 coats paint and 3 coats clear coat

 

sounds fishy ... get quotes from some other people...

Where in queens is the bodyshop?? I'm lookin into a paint job, but don't know if I want to do it cuz it won't stop there.

 

thats a lot from doors to the front end...for that price, i could got a very good paint job and thats the whole car. dont trust him he is for sure ripping u off
