Default crx with ls swap vs. 95 civic coupe with gsr swap

i was just writing to get your opinion on this battle. he(the crx driver) recently swapped in a b18a1 into his crx with no a/c or power steering. its all stock internally. ive got a 95 civic 2 dr witha b18c all stock as well with the exception of a short ram and an apexi vafc.(vtec set at 4700) i know the crx weighs less, but by how much? im sure the power to weight ratio played a big part because he got me from take off all the way to the end of the quarter. i was creepin on him in third gear, but not quick enough. someone let me know what my problem could be.

What your problem could be?
he is either a better driver or has a faster car, or both.

I don't get what you are trying to find out...

coupe is a heavy car as if you had a integra. i too have the same set up as your and dissapointed in my 1/4 timeslip. you will need a lot more upgrade to spank that crx due to weight factor.this is just my opinion, unly someone can shed some light into this.

Well I can tell you one thing that will make your car faster get rid of your VAFC cause unless you have had your car proffesionaly tuned on it you have done nothing but take HP away from yourself. 98% of people sit and play with it change Vtec change this and that and it just makes your car slower. If you are using a factory manifold then you for sure want the dual stage vtec which I beleive if you are using the VAFC then you are by-passing some part of that. Other then that I agree with the other posts he is either a better driver or has a faster car...........................
