I have a '95 gsr 4dr. and my sunroof opens fine, but takes forever to close. I think the motor may be dying because it sounds that way. Example: ummmmmmmmm......ummm...umm.......ummmm....ummmmm.. .........(stops working completely for about 10 seconds, then finally shuts after a minute or so of on/off closing)
I did do a search on it and found so many entries. Most people relate this problem to the switch. However, I don't see how it could be the switch...sounds like the motor to me. I'm about to spend alot of money in labor trying to get this thing fixed, so if someone wants to help me fast, that would be awesome. I know it's winter, but I can't stand having stuff broken on my car...I can't stop thinking about it. Any help is appreciated.

 

Some people have tried spraying WD-40 on the rails and it has helped. I don't recommend it as a permanent solution though.

dont use wd-40. u could but it sucks it drys up after a while and it makes ur car smell. use vasoline
