check engine went on and the car was jolting -
hooked up the ob2 and it said "rear vtec bank"
the shop pretty much sed the vtec spool (solenoid) needs to be replaced
they "cleaned" and the filter i guess- and it worked like once but by the time i hit the freeway that **** was down again

also- if i hit vtec rpm range and vtec dont work- am i screwing up my car's engine (doesnt really matter - this sh*t is smoking anyway-ive got 195 compression on all four - but im guessing my rings are bad:?)
