Default 96-98 conversion to 99-00 civic sedan

i was wondering if it is possible to convert everything from 96-98 to 99-00. how hard would it be and how long? i know the front end is kinda easy but im wondering about the rear end the most. any pictures or help would be very greatful.

I believe the entire back end rear panels of the 1996-98 sedan is more rounded off as opposed to the 1999-00, so I think unlike the front end this would be fairly difficult. I don't even believe the lights are a direct replacement. I'm always willing to be proved wrong though. Up for more help.

Alll you need is the tailights and the trunk and maybe the rear bumper too.

I'm thinking you'd have to cut the whole backend of the car off. 99-00 Tail lights have sharper corners all the way around and the trunk is alot flater if I'm not mistaken.

Probably for the same reason you do some of the things you do. Because you can, because you want to, and a number of other things I don't feel like listing.

99-00 sharpness in the rear is all an illusion in the trunk/taillgihts...the rearquarter panel is the same...like somebody mentioned...all u need are taillights, trunk and maybe bumper

the panel is not the same.. 99-2000 have a body line built into them, the 96-98's have a pin stripe that looks like then do

Rear is exactly the same. Just swap the tails.

If you still dont believe it, check the part #'s from honda.
