Default not enough Engine Oil

i use Mobil 1 full synthetic, and usally a honda filter or FRAM as a last resort... the manual says to put 4.25 quarts, but i usually just put 4 qts or 4 bottles. is this bad? should i put that extra .25 in?

Not bad. Not good. Doesn't matter that much unless your car burns lots of oil.

This is common sense.
You have a dipstick for a reason. As long as the oil level is where its supposed
to be then you are ok. DOnt worry so much about specs.

You only need 4 quarts becuase the .25 oil is in your engine.
