Heater Problem w/2000 Accord
WTF, explain what you're talking about. Heater is very general. What's the problem EXACTLY? No heat, too much heat, not enough heat. Being a smartass won't get you much help.

You must be stoopid.

Sorry man had one to many. When the car is first started and running for awhile, the car blow little heat, but then the cold. I am confused on this.
So you are saying that you cannot get heat out of your heater. Very common complaint when winter comes around.
1. Check coolant level in the radiator. Add if necessary
2. when your engine is at operating temperature, feel both hoses from rad to make sure coolant is reaching the heater core. IF not, could be defective thermostat.
3. Start car and move the controls for the heater (inside car), can you hear them open and close. You should hear a swooch sound every time you do this. If not, could be defective inlets.
4. Could also be a plugged heater core...
You may want to invest in a manual for added information

Could also be that the valve that lets the hot coolant flow thru your vent system to heat up your can could be broken....happened to me last winter...one thing i learned from the mechanic was that enver to unplug any hose that is filled with coolant to the check parts after the car has been running! The guy burnt off his gloves off his hands when the hot coolant fell on it, pretty funny, but dangerous.
So check for that valve that regulates how much hot coolant flows thru to heat your car. (dont really know the name of it)
