Stickyness and long lasting usually go hand in hand. Many tires that are sticky have a high wearness rating.

oook, I have Sumitomo and they went bald in less than a year, front and rear. Yes I rotated them and everything. I also heard that BFGoodrich last a while too

I'd recommend the Yokohama AVS ES100's (currently on them). They're pretty cheap, have good grip, and a relatively good tread life. Good for a daily driver.

As for your Sumitomo's balding, did the entire tire go, or one side in particular? Either way, I'd go and get an alignment to check your camber and get your toe back into spec.

Did you ever get an alignment? How was the wear...Was it even? Just curious.

oh it wore evenly, I can't say that i didn't pull the e-brake a few times or spin the front a few time, but they did go bald a lot quicker than my last tires.

oh yes you can. not very grippy, but kinda long lasting. I had my fronts on for 15k, and just rotated them to the rear. I know, shoulda done it earlier, but I drive 1000 miles a week and have no time...

Yea I had 2 sets of ziexs. On my ls rims and then when I got my Konig's both had the ziexs. Not much grip at all. I was spinning 2nd gear. Now I'm on Yokohama Avids. They have much better grip and so far the wear seems pretty good.

I work at americas tire and the most popular tires for honda owners are the yokohama AVS ES100, avids, or the yk420. Of course there are other good tires out there but thats just from what i see people buyin at work. I have had the yk420's for 2 years now and being slammed i rotate every 2000 miles...still pretty good.

OMG those tires are such sh*t, at the slightest hint of a sharp turn they roll up on the sidewall. Grip like bacon grease . Get Azenis, they don't last very long but the grip/$$ is unbeatable.

Yea I definitely recommend Yokohama ES100's too.
I've also had the Falken Azenis and they didnt last too long and was more noisy, but it had great grip.
But for overall performace, ES100 stands out in my eyes.
Though... those yk'420s' l00k mighty fine haha

Kumho Supra 712, pretty good grip in the rain or dry and last a decent long time. The price is very affordable.

yokohama paradas last forever but they're not very sticky. they're good if you don't plan to go crazy driving or track. when i had paradas, i didn't have to change them for about 3 years (and i drove around 15k miles per yr).

falken azenis are nice n sticky. they don't last too long but i'd take these over paradas any day. bad for rain.. but you shouldn't be driving fast in the rain anyway. ppl say they're a lil noisy, but it hasn't bothered me at all.

bridgestone potenzas are also pretty good. nice & sticky. not sure about treadwear though...

i'm not too happy with my ziex. their my first tire on 17's thgouh... so i'm not too sure about how es100's would do or the kumho 712's.

i think the es100's are better, except their treadlife is worse the the 712's. 712's got a little less stick.

goodluck

the fact remains u got a lowerd car, u like to spin tires a little, your only going to
get around a year out of them anyways. hell im lucky to even get a year sometimes. from time to time they only last around 6 months when i drive like an *******, lol its in my blood. ive had the kuhmos they were nice expecially in the rain i live in fl so ive tested the limits of it & never lost controll. they averaged a year, grip was good
