No answers came up in the search. Does this **** fit directly on to any other Honda shifter without any modification? It will be going on a 98 ITR shifter, and I want to be 100% on this before I purchase one.

Easy question- I just don't know the answer.

last week i use the rsx type s shift **** on a 95 gs r perfect fit.....

 

so the same would go for the base 5spd ****, you would say?

 

i think they are the same...like ls, gs r and type R.....

 

to answer your question completley, yes the **** will fit.

Any OEM Honda manual transmission shift **** will fit any OEM Honda shifter.
