Before I spend a few hundred on Millenia wheels, are there any other 15x6 wheels that are interchangeable on the ITR. Exotics like Spoon and TE 37's are out of the question budget-wise.
Seems that at 11 lbs. the 9 spoke Millenias seem to be the best bet. Just getting a few last opinions before spending $300.
Also, for the ITR guys who have run the Millenias, can you actually feel the difference from the stock wheels regarding the unspung/rotational weight or is it nil?

Yeah, the cheapest I've found them is $200 for four without seeing them in person, not local though. The $300 is with shipping from Vegas from a fairly reputable guy on SCCAforums.com
Yeah, the Millennia wheels or stock are the best bet. I bet you could find some Volks in 15x6 5x114 that would be pretty light, but what's the point? Aside from being the blingingest DS car on the grid, but then you'd also need Motons to complete the package.
You won't be able to feel the difference, but the timer will.

Have you looked around http://www.car-part.com? You can usually find some decent deals there... FWIW, I know pseudorealityX found some for around $40 each or so.

They are heavier, not sure of the exact weight, but I would guess they are closer to 20 lb's.

Yeah, someone from sccaforums.com suggested it
and they have an abundance of them. I figure that 4 clean ones with shipping is about $250-$300.
Sounds like this is a pretty easy decision. Now, Victoracers or Hoosiers? Hmmm...

Chit, really? I knew a guy that autocrossed with them with a stock-ish R. But that's all by memory, not sure what year or if he was actually in GS/DS.
I'm very likely wrong on this one, this was 4 years back...

The Problem is there aren't many better alternatives for lightweight wheels. The Volks for instance don't clear the caliper w/45mm offset and require a spacer. Illegal for DS. Advan or SSR might make one that fits, but since the Volk doesn't who wants to take that chance? The 97-01 CRV alloys fit and are legal, but are heavier than stock ITR wheels.
The UKDM ITR wheels are a good option. ~12 lbs
Search around...Car-Parts.com was mentioned, that's a good place to look for the Millenia wheels. Local trading posts, ebay, are also good places. You shouldn't have to spend more than $50/wheel for these. They're reasonably plentiful and old enough that not many people are looking for them anymore.

The TE37 is available in 15x6 (or even 15x5.5"), according to their website. In stock, you can run up to a 1/4" spacer so 45mm offset would be no prob.

No, you can deviate from the factory offset by +/- 1/4", including the use of spacers.... stock ITR wheels are +50, so a with +45 wheel you could not run a spacer and be legal.

Hey he probably got away with it because it's not really enforced in local clubs.
I did think about the spacer route, to try other options but it seems the Millenias are going to get the job done
.
The next project will be powdercoating them black. Sweeet.....

Dude. Krylon BBQ paint is the shizznazzizzllebizzle.
How bad is the TE37's interference with the ITR caliper? 45mm leaves 1.35mm of spacer to play with within the rules, and I could make some that thin if I had enough time and material to make a few mistakes.

How do they verify offset at a national level autocross? I guess your competition would notice any irregularities before "officials" would.

Better gearing with 225/45-15's on the front, or "the hot tire to have" in 225/50-15.
