What all do i need to buld an ls vtec?

 

I usally dont tell people to do a search but ls/vtec has been covered so many times just do a search youll find so much info

 

LS block, vtec head, ECU for head, ....more people will chime in....

LS block (b18a/b18b)
B-series vtec head (b16/b17/b18c/)
GE LSVTEC Kit..(No need to machine the head anymore..)
B-series vtec oil pump and water pump..
An ecu that matches your head/dizzy..

Its recommended to use all arp bolts and a gsr girdle in the motor since the ls block is so unstable at higher rpm when unbalanced....

and you'll need a short ratio tranny to take advantage of the motor..

your basic head, block, ecu, and all of your extra's like hoses and everything else should only run around an extra 250 for all the lil bs parts
