well thats the right pic of the cam end, so if they look like that when you get them, then theyre real.

I bought a fake set awhile back. Don't rely on the machined rings to tell you they are the real deal. There is no way you will be able to tell by the pics, with out looking at them in person. Mine had rings but they were not made by Honda. Fakes have a much rougher casting finish, different looking coating on them, and none of the sides of the lobes are machined. As in they are all rough on the side of the lobe compared to a oem cam which has some of the side lobes machined down. Also the boxes labels and plastic wrap is slightly different, off color etc.
Not saying those are fake, for all I know ther're OEM, but just be carefull.

Hm, I was just about to reply an email to him about picking up one of those sets of used ITR cams he mentioned in his auction.
Why is DHRacing not to be trusted? Any threads relating to this, or personal experience? Price seems pretty good on those cams..

do a search man. The've been reported to the bbb many many times. They shady business ways were starting to catch up with them so they had to move from lancaster,ca to vegas. They make outrages claims of hp gains and just say "dynos coming soon" and they never do. I bought a "fully built d16z6 motor" from them for almost 2000 and all i got was a stock zc block with a 1/2-assed knife-edged crank. Just be careful.

huge-threads about these cams year ago probably a year ago, but they got deleted.

Not only the ones on ebay but also a groupbuy was put together for these cams for about 320ish.

Major point to get across is that @cost for these cams 550ish so how can one sell so many for a "too good to be true" price of 350$ or lower.

THen the arguement became well if there fake but give gains then why not?...

Maybe this is not the correct thread to reply, but it got a lot to do with it anyway.

A while back (before I read all the threads about "fake sellers" and "Fake type R cams" I also bought a set of CTR cams on ebay.

Then the money was paid, and I was waiting for the cams to arrive.
Since I live in The Netherlands, it will take a long while for the cams to arrive, but after more then a month I got worried and I contacted the person. Till now I still don't got the cams (6 months later) and the guys doesn't reply on my mails etc, and also he isn't selling under his name on Ebay anymore.

So I got screwed by 330 euro's that's about $445 at the moment...
So this is also a warning to you!

Also I want to ask if anybody lives in the neighborhood of Providence Pike, Danielson, CT 06239???
His name is Brian Masson...

He is a big crook.

I beleive he bought the deal that they had.. and sold them at his price... 100 itr cams for 250 each and 100 ctr for 300.. this was on a website i was looking at a while back.. thats why he has like a hundred for sale

So i beleive they're legit and his buyer's aern't complaining so its probably the right stuff..

When it sounds too good to be true then that's most probably the case.

I ordered a set from this guy on dec. 6 and haven't recieved them yet. I have sent 4 e-mails to him, and got 1 reply back so far. I guess I need to go ahead and just file a claim against him on paypal.

Don't test it. Just look through the classifieds here and get yourself a set. I've seen them from $375 and up. You know, I bought a Type R IM, Type R TB, RC 270CC's, and CTR cams w/S2 cam gears for $350 off a guy 3 weeks ago. He needed money fast and I had just the right amount. Keep an eye out and you'll find a deal. STAY AWAY FROM EBAY AT ALL COSTS!
