Default B20z w/ torque chamber?

Just curious if anyone is running a stock b20z and still using the torque chamber.
I have mine still on but I am not to the point of being able to drive the car yet.
I have converted the B20z to obd1 already. I kept all the obd2 sensors on the engine and used the 95 dx harness. I will be running it with a p75.
If anyone is running the same setup and you have any tips or know of any possible problems to look out for. Please Tell.

Thanks

no it's a b20z2 out of a 2001 crv.
low rise intake with the torque chamber on top.
You are talking about the US b20b intake.
way different.

Does it even fit under the hood? I have heard that it won't with the 'torque chamber'. Regardless, I would guess that using this will increase low end/midrange at the expense of top end.

Yes it fits I had the engine in the car already but i took it out to weld the tranny mounting braket to the frame. I dropped the engine/tranny in just to mark the new spot for the braket. There were no clearance issues with the torque chamber. If 1.5 inchs or a little less is good enought for you. It is for me.

its an almost identical manifold minus that crappy box.
Why do you say it's a crappy box. Can you prove it or is that just your opinion.
Don't take that in a wrong way. I would just like some proof from someone that it is worth removing it and replacing it with the ls manifold. The engine only has 30k on it so I really do not want to remove anything.
Thank you for the replies.

because it disrupts smooth air flow.

oh okay, I was thinking it might be designed to only operate/affect a certain rpm range. I don't know.
I will hopefully be able to drive the car soon. I know one thing for sure. I will enjoy going from a automatic 1.5 to a standard 2.0.

The torque chamber on the b20z2 is a little different than that one.
I'll Keep it!
