I would get the HIDs (6000k) before you get a skunk2 mani - you'll want that for when you get bigger cams (ITR or ?)

the ecu will not be involved i don't think. I beleive getting rid of rthe secondary runner will make you loss torque at and low and mid rpm but will be better at higher end. correct me if i'm wrong

and the skunk IM is about the same thing as the itr manifold but, with the ITR manifold you have to drill 2 holes i believe to have it fit or is it one. the skunk is a direct bolt on. correct me again

You're right on. You will spend more money with the Skunk Manifold because you will need a Type R intake and well as a Type R throttle cable and hanger.
Then you will need to dyno tune your car for max power.

Get the HID's

depends on what u want. dont compare a skunk2 intake mani to HIDs. skunk2 intake mani will help your performance..HIDs will help u look "cool" and see better at night. dont get me wrong tho HIDs are da ..but i would be much happier w/ a skunk2 intake mani.

He only has $500

$310 (manifold) $170 (intake) = $480 then he still need to get the throttle cable and hanger and a cable pulley!!!!!!!

Then if he has someone install it he will need more $$$$$$MONEY$$$$$$$
Then he will need to dyno tune the car which will cost more $$$$$$$$$$$

You obviously have never seen the difference in intesity between our stock halogens and the HIDs, the HIDs make a world of difference and our worth every penny IMO, definately a purchase you won't regret. They did make a vast improvement as far as being able to see better at night, but unfortunately I didn't feel any cooler after installing them .
