As my luck would have it I was going to take my car into Honda today to have them double check the oil pressure and all that fun stuff. Well last night we bled my clutch so I could drive it the couple miles to the shop and have everything looked over as the last precaution. After we did so, we went to start it to double check the clutch is working and BAM! No fuel pump. There is no fuel pressure at all and the pump isn't priming. The car started the day we dropped the engine in and then again like 3 or 4 days ago when I fired it up for a few seconds.
I'm following the charts in the helms... I already measured the fuel pump wires at the pump plug its self and there is no voltage. The fuse for the fuel pump its self is good. My next step is to find the fuel pump relay and jumper the wires the Helms tells you to and double check for power at the pump plug. My question is where the heck is the relay on a 5th gen? The Helms just says behind the cowl, but doesn't say anything more than that. Is it above the interior fuse box like in the 4th gen info I found says? Is it still grey and about 4 times the size of a normal relay? Any, ANY info would be greatly appreciated since this seems to be the last bug I have until I can get this thing back on the road after 6 months of not driving it!
