fitting a d17 in a 91 crx
Hi, I'm from Brazil and I have a 91 crx si
I whanted to use a b16a in my crx, but it showed too expensive here.
So I'm thinking in using a easier and cheaper option for me, the civic's d17 ( i d'ont know the hole code, it's the one coming in the EX civic sedan - vtec)
It seems pretty easy, but i´m not sure, so anyone can help me?
what problems can i have?
is there some electronic incompatibility ( using a vtec controler ) ?
thanks, and sorry for the bad english.

That's a 01+ civic motor..
Dont do that swap ..
Its a d-series but 88-00 civic stuff doens't fit on it..
And the distributor set-up would be a bitch to work with your car..I dont even know if it has holes behind the dizzy..
Also the motor has no return fuel line..
Your better off getting a 92-00 sohc vtec motor..Your in Brazil so I dont know if you have d16z6 or d16y8 down there but you should check because that would be alot easier of a swap....or even a sohc vtec zc...
