You guys can't make fun of me anymore. At least not for my rusty, mixed-font, half-tape / half-magnetic, ghetto-*** car numbers. East Coast Honda Challenge sponsor Raceworks shipped me my semi-official graphics a couple days ago. Here's what they look like.

Picture quality is decent, will get better as I learn how to use this digital camera...

PS what rims are you running there in the first PIC?

 

Karl, looks nice, BUT, having worked timing and scoring before, I can tell you those front numbers are really quite miserable to read @ dusk. Something brighter like yellow or white would be good next time. Don't do red/black, that's impossible to read.

Nearly all sign shops can make vinyl numbers for your car for less then $40?? Plus they also sell the magnet material for your sponsers and other stickers.

Enkei RF-1s, 15x7. They used to be silver, they got ruined with brake dust. So I spent three bucks on some barbeque grille paint and sprayed 'em. From a distance they look OK, but up close...(shudder...)

And Raceworks did an amazing job matching the "Shultz Blue." Nice.

I'm not gonna miss the old numbers, but I am gonna miss making fun of them.

I'll have to look into that. Once I unrolled it, I realized they sent a windshield banner-style name, not a plain old die-cut for the bottom. Probably a miscommunication on my part.
