Front Lower tie bar....make any difference?
lately i've been wanting a lower front tie bar just wondering if their a waste of time and $$$ looking into a spoon or cusco/carbing one....
BTW: for the people who have one do you scrape it a lot?

It stiffens the chasis up a bit, but not as much if you don't have an upper strut bar. The ones you mentioned are expensive. Possibly check out suspension techniques. They are a bit less expensive and just about the same. As for scraping, I highly doubt it. I've had mine on for a little while and you'll hit the radiator support before you hit the tie bar if you're going up an incline, as for other stuff, you'll hit the sway bar before you hit the tie bar.
for tie and strut bars...buy cheap one....well at or ok one..especially upper strut bars front/rear....lower is not important...BUT sway bar must be good...sway bars = everything

Well not necessarily. They do different jobs. Tie/Strut bars Stiffen the chassis (from the frame from flexing) while sway bars do nothing to stiffent the chassis, instead, swaybars limit the body roll of a car. The megan H-bar seems pretty heavy duty, and not too pricey. I did some searching and many claim that the brace isnt really needed and scraping becomes a real issue.
Search 'h bar' and you'll see a thread pop up in the racing forum.
