Default gsr bottom b16 head

today i was in school and my friend was talking about doing a swap with a gsr bottom and a b16 head i was just wondering what type of power that would make and if it would be good or not

Well the B16A head flows better even though a lot of people seem to disagree with that. The problem is the compression will be 9.6:1 which is lower than the GSR's 10:1 compression. So if the motor is stock, then the car will be slower with the B16 head. Unless you plan on going forced induction, then it's a different story.

although the b16 head does flow better, the amount is minimal and completely unnoticeable. i've seen the flowcharts somehwere, but i could never find it again. you're better off just getting headwork done to the gsr head.

if your going na i'd only use the b16 head if i were using different pistons to up compression otherwise the gsr head is more than adequate
