Inside Trunk Seat Release - '98 Civic EX
So I am a total idiot about cars, but I will try to describe my problem as best I can.
Inside my trunk, there is a rear seat release, which is held in place by a little piece of plastic. I accidently broke the piece of plastic and my car seems to be in panic mode...alarm going off...can't turn it on. I've got to admit it's a little frustrating being locked out of my own car. Anyways, I disconnected the battery, hooked the bar back in to place, and taped it down. I reconnected the battery and it's still in panic mode. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this or have had similar problems? Thanks in advance.
