it handles very good... I'm getting some 5 way adjustables this weekend to stiffent it up a bit more, but overall, handles really good.

i think all the extra weight aside from the motor is the Type-r Recaro's and the 11" disc conversion. I bet if i did a heavy weight reduction i could get it under 2200 lbs

gutted VX here. 2060 on a full tank.

I don't know where it lies now since I've done more lightweight mods to it.

my '95 cx hatch with h22 weighed in at 2375... This was on a mustang dyno, and I don't know if there was a driver in the car or not, as I was not present at the time. After reading everyone else's #s, I sure as hell hope there was...

How the hell are some of you guys managing to cut so much weight? The interior can't be worth more than 50 pounds. You guys going crazy drilling holes or what?

the back seats weigh more than you would think. but one of the biggest weight savers has to be the extra seatbelts. those three in the back combined have to weigh close to 40lbs. Plus the seat back. atleast 30/40lbs. Im not sure but i think disk brakes weigh less then drums too. I prolly shouldnt even say this at the risk of getting flamed for being suicidal but i took my bumper supports out.

i have type-r seats in the back, they weigh about 1/2 of what the stock civic seats weigh. the ITR recaros are about 60-70 lbs a piece, far heavier then the stock seats. I would like to try gutting the car and scaling it again, but i like having all the creature comforts in this car because then it looks relatively stock (except for the front seats and gsr dash )

you guys agree that 2375 HAD to be with a person in the car right? Its a 95 cx hatch with H22, no AC or PS, no other mods that would effect weight...

except my seats. I used the seats from my wrecked 2000 lude, but they can't be that much heavier than the civic seats, I would guess 15-25 pounds more at the most.

BTW - anyone else have lude seats in their eg? ? ?
