yeah im about 35 min from harrisburg. im right outside of dillsburg. used to live closer about 3 years ago when i lived near lower daulphin but now im in dillsburg. this is my dad's house. my mom lives outside of gettysburg. where u from
vids from inside the car are fine i really dont care. hope you can get them up

i have 404's in my car. idle is nasty at 675rpm where i keep it, but is smooth as stock if you hike it up to like 1000rpm, maybe a bit more. it'll idle really really rich if you don't have safc or something like it, so badly in fact that i strongly recommend nobody get them before getting an afc. also, idling that rich makes it nearly impossible to get a steady idle below 1200-ish rpm, and with cams that big you'll want the afc anyways. in any case, i haven't even noticed a difference in sound at all, from off-idle to redline, in the exhaust note. only way anybody can tell w/ my car is wait for the tach to swing past about 4000rpm, b/c you better hang on!
I had 402's in my car. My friend had 403's and 404's tuned. Couldn't tell the difference at all. Just felt the power just a little bit more. Idle seemed stock.
Id love to go record a sounds clip for you, but i spun a bearing...she dont run no more
But i did notice even after 3 valve adjustments, that the valve train is considerably louder than most cars...but its an LS valvetrain and u cant expect it to be quiet...also when tuned, it lopes a little bit...but a crisp lope, not a dying lope like some cars...

climaxpinoy sent me his vid of his car. his car sounds abso. wicked from about 6 grand til 8 grand which his shift point was. and from the vid it pulls like a train. very nice
if nebody else has a vid or is gonna record one id greatly appreciate it. i just wanna see what im lookin forward to

well i have a set of 403's on my LS and u can definitly hear a lope on them. my idle is set at stock around 700-750. i have 2 1/2" N1 exhaust and u can hear the lope from inside and outside the car. it's not a crazy lopey idle but it's still a lope. Makes the car sound really aggressive at idle. as soon as i installed my cams and started the car up at my friends shop, he said he could definitly hear the cams. then when i took the car home all my friends said the car sounded mean. i love that sound!

How much difference did it make in power?

Right now the car is untuned but u can still feel the power after 3-4K rpms. thats where these cams shine. once i install my PR3 pistons and get it dyno tuned, the car will be run n much much better.
on the side note, after i installed these cams, it shaved almost 0.5 sec's off my 1/4 mile time and the car was run n really bad too that day. before w/o the cams the car ran 15.92. It ran a 15.5 after the install. these are horrible times i know, but i had played around with the cam gears before i went to the track which i shouldnt have done. the car had trouble stay n on. it would shut off on my alot during idle. i went home and set the gears back to stock and the car felt alot better.
Cant wait to install the pistons and have this sucker dyno tuned!!!! and then with a B16 tranny i'll be run n really good

i want to install 403's on my ls. do i have to get anything else besides the cams? i only shift at 7000 so i dont think i need a valve train...do i need vafc to run or what? what about cam gears?
evevn if ur not gonna shift past 7k, those cams are still very aggressive.. i highly recommend the springs and retainers....
cam gears arent necessary, but add a lil more to tuning...
as far as a safc/vafc, i'd recommended it for tuning. jus get a good tuner
i have the 404's and people say u can't even get it to idle well at all, but mine idles like stock.
so all in all. good tuning
