Notching and Bending tube
Bending - Non-hydraulic die bender
Notching - Either holesaw/table mounted notcher, or when possible, holesaw on the mill, or concurrant size end mill. And a die grinder/6 hours for those hard joints

To bend I use a Pro Tools 105HD bender, and to notch I have a Harbor Frieght 60° tubing notcher I put in my drill press, it has made 100's of notches and still works great!

The benders you see for rollcages are not true mandrel benders, a true mandrel bender will set you back over $10k easily. The cheapest tubing bender ive seen would be the JD2 Model 3, around $300, check ebay, you might score a used one. Although the dies alone are $200 each.

You don't want a true mandrel bend for a roll cage anyways, it is not safe. A true mandrel bend will change the thickness of the metal for purposes of flow. Which is why they're used in exhaust and intake and not safe at all for structural support. The structure bending is done by rolling the pipe around a die which keeps it more circular, but does get smaller. A true mandrel has the outer die and an inner die which keeps the pipe the same size but weakening it.

thats not a cage , thats a ROLLBAR.
and like I said , it fits like a generic pre-made one at that.

ok ok, its a "rollbar" not a "roll cage" but I dont' see nothing wrong with the fitting, especially for that price.
