Default compression issues...

In my b20/vtec my compression numbers are 210-210-210-150, i just pulled the head off in suspect that it is the valves, going to get them re-seated and new guides installed as well

do you guys think that when i put it all back together and have a 200-200-200-200 i will honestly notice a difference?

the reason for 210 is milled head .020 and milled layer removed from head gasket, but that head gasket literally BROKE, so i'm putting a stock on back on, so it will be 200-200-200-200(hopefully) do you think i will notice a difference or will my motor just run smoother??

yah your motor would run smoother if your compression was the same across the board. how many miles are on the block??? you said the gasket was broke?? did you do something to it upon taking the head off, or could that have been contributing to the loss in compression?? what does your cylinder walls look like on that cylinder that had low compression???

cylinder walls are fine, i have already replaced the rings on that 1 piston in that cylinder, its not the rings, the exhaust valves are seated fine, i had the put up vacuum at the machine shop, the 2 intake valves needed new guides and new seats, so its sitting at the shop right now gettin that done

there is absolutely nothing else it could be, i have replaced/fixed everything

i am putting a stock head gasket back on

i dont have the tools to do a leak down test
