"1987 accord"
my friend has an 87 accord and that seems kinda fast so i wanna what is the stock horses and torque for that car.I dont think he should but would it be safe to put an h22 in that raggidy piece of ****
87 accords come with 98-110 horsepower stock depending on if the motor is a 1.8 or a 2.0.
It would be neat to see an 87 with an H22, but I don't think it would be a good Idea. Maybe see if your friend can find a newer one, like 90 and up.

the 87 had 98 HP for the DX and LX models (carbed), and 110HP for the LXi models (fuel injected)
they all had A20A engines, the difference was in the fuel delivery...
remember, though, that these cars, in DX form were only 2600 pounds for the sedan (roughly)...
an H22 requires too much modification to fit into the 3rd gen accords... unluckily for 3rd gen drivers, the only bolt in swap is a b20 from the japanese accord, which is hard to find mated to a manual transmission... all other b series motors require new mounts (and possibly axles), but since PRI went out of business, mounts aren't available for the 3rd gen anymore...
