Default 1994 Accord suspension pop

I recently started experiencing a "pop" in the front end of the car, only while turning left. This didn't start until I had the car up in the air for several hours, repainting the wheel covers. It doesn't happen everytime I turn left, only on an incline/decline, or when the turn is fairly sharp and at speed. Is this a balljoint, C/V joint... ? This is just my work car, so I'm not looking for any kind of performance upgrade. Just trying to determine if it's serious and needs addressed.

Check your cv boot. I would bet that if you replaced the axle with a brand new one, it would go away. Autozone has em with a lifetime warranty for like 70 bucks.

Thanks for the reply. That's not a bad price. Can I assume it is the driver's side?
I should also note that the "pop" only happens once. After it happens, it doesn't continue to pop while I turn or even pop when the wheel is straightened back out.

i would think if it's only one "pop" then it's not likely to be a CV joint. also, you said you were painting covers, so i assume you didn't even took apart all of the front suspension. still less likely to be a CV.

i would think it sounds more like a spring/shock assembly: a spring could go out of place after you lifted the car. i have a '94 lx, and i'm experiencing same "pop" in my rear suspension from time to time, only this started to happen after I installed aftermarket springs with worn-out stock spring seats (bushings). i'll replace them soon, of course, but you could check your spring seats, if they were affected by suspension hanging for a long time.

Thanks. Nothing on the front suspension was touched. I just removed the lug nuts to access the wheel covers.
