8 Years So Far With '97 #112...
Thought I would keep the theme going as a couple of them have been poping up lately.
...Eight years of dealing with thieves, door ding morons, haters, admirers..........Any how, the relationship between man and machine is geting better day by day. She is a keeper.

That is exactly what I have in mind. Thanks for sharing.

beats me and i'm almost at 7 years (original owner).</TD></TR></TABLE>
same here. 7 years as the original owner of #193 and still love driving it. i picked up my car in july of '97 and they weren't available till may or june of that year. iirc, there was a delay in releasing the car to the public because of some emissions problems and so honda had to keep all of the '97 itr's on the docks and perform the necessary changes.

That's one thing I was wondering. The gentleman I bought mine from got his in the middle of '97 because it took longer than anticipated after the deposit was made. Plus, it's a fairly low number (#50).
Edit: 1000th post wOOT for me (not really
, just a nerd)

I also was wondering the same thing. I'm the second owner and the first owner of #171 was the first person to pick one up at Superior Acura in Kansas City. Anyway, my R's DOB is in July 1997, I got it on September 21, 2002 w/ only 35,000 miles. It now has 74,000 miles and counting fast. I absolutely love the car more and more every day I drive it.
Anyway....Its great to see that their are some original R's still surviving

To those who questioning about my 8 yrs with #112, I'm sorry for the misleading. 7 yrs is the exact number. I just want to add one thing. With all the up and down that #112 has been given me, not a single moment I think of parting with her. I'm not like those "weather" ITR owners who one day love their ITR to death and next day just want to get rid of her.
