when you shut the car off ,it kinda sputters back to life a couple times and finaly turns off...im having this problem with my DA.whats causing this and how can i stop it...also how bad is it on the motor...

It's called pre-ignition or dieseling. It's typically a timing problem, or a detonation problem. More than likely have too much carbon build up going on. Clean out your engine and check your timing. Most people will say to use sea foam on this board but I have no experience with it.

 

i can say now i KNOW the motor is all carboned up...im running WAY too rich to begin with,and the previous owner didnt take to good of care of it...its getting re-built in a moth er so with some minor changes like itr pistons crank balanced polish etc.....should i wait till then after the motor is heat tanked and all and that should fix the problem?
