Default camber off on one wheel

After I lowered my car, I had it aligned and the front left was 3 degrees negative. What would cause one side to be so far off when the others are perfect? I know ingalls makes a camber kit that goes to 3 degrees, but this still puzzles me.

2 owners ago, the guy went over a curb at 60 mph. The guy I bought it from said he did a lot of front end work to it, so I thought that would have cured it. I have thought that this would be the problem.
