If that's on the muffler (BC SpecIII has no resonator, right?), it won't affect performance, as the inner piping shouldn't be affected. It will, however, detract from the bling value

that must be a really tight clamp. thats on the muffler case so it wont affect flow, you just might lose a point or 2 at the next show, but other than that i think it wont be any problem.

Rob, hard to see in that pic, but the Spec3 has a band clamp with hangers that you adjust yourself to make things fit. Hard to tell how that happened but if the band clamp can still be bolted together around the muffler then it should be fine. The material is not that thick on the BC due to it being so "lightweight". Just make sure that "dent" may not turn into a "hole"....
