I think my mom's car's oil level sensor is shot. Oil level is fine, but the light goes on and off randomly. Recently, it's been staying on. Could it be the sensor? The dealer wants crazy labot charges to fix. I might try to take a look at it myself.

 

Buy the repair manual for 25 bucks at pep boys or somewhere else, look it up.......buy sensor and replace. Charge mom 100 bucks.

 

put some oil in the car!

It should be on the block somewhere... gotta look around..
on my honda, it's above the oil filter, on my chevy 350 its on the top of the block
on my friends race car it's on the remote oil filter
