B16A, need throttle help
Ok, i have a 91 CRX si, and i have a B16A swapped in. I am using the stock throttle cable, and it worked with the stock B16A throttle body just fine, but i put on a tapered 70-68mm one from an-r.com. I believe it's RPM Service. Well now it only opens up about 75% of the way when i have the pedal on the floor. How do i make it open all the way up?
And another issue is this...with the new throttle body it came with a coolant line splitter/splicer/whatever. It connects the two coolant lines that used to go through the stock tb. Well, i heard that there is a sensor or something that controls the idle depending on the coolant. And my idle is at about 1800+ when the engine is warmed up a little. How the crap do i turn it down on this tb? I see no adjustment place for it!

I have the rpm service 72-70mm tb. I have an itr throttle cable and it works great. I didn't use the splitter i ran a new hose instead. At the bottom of the throttle lever there a set screw and a nut. Loosen the nut and adjust the set screw to adjust idle. Good luck because it's a pita from what you're used to with the old tb.
What intake manifold are you using?
Once you get it fixed lmk how you like your stiff gas pedal

I am using the AEBS IM. I like the pedal to feel stiffer, it keeps me interested i guess. I'll check the idle adjusting. But is there any secret to getting it to open up all the way? I don't really know how to adjust my throttle cable if i even can. Any help with that would be cool too. Thanks.
Sounds like you need to adjust your throttle cable. It's pretty easy, all you have to do is turn the bolt that is on the right of the throttle cable bracket. You will want to take up some of the slack that is currently in the throttle cable.
