The CRX will be faster, but the Civic may be easier. It depends on whether the VTEC motor you're getting is OBD0, OBD1 or OBD2.

i am not too sure wich one it is, but i do know it is an 89 jap spec and my friend said it will fit directly in my crx and the harness that is on the motor will plug right in my harness with my computer if i don't want the v-tech hooked up yet.

vtech makes electronic stuff not honda motors. honda makes vtec engines and if your dumb enough to not want vtec hooked up on a vtec engine then go buy an american car.

I think you should get the 2.4GHz model instead.

haha, these people are giving you a hard time, cuz your spelling v-tec, as v-tech. So you dont get flamed anymore, Its v-tec no H at the end.

anyways, It sounds like you b16 to me. I would definatly put it in your CRX. cuz even in civic the CRX will automatically be faster.

read up on some swaps, just go to http://www.google.com and type in b16 swap.

Best thing is if you know anyone else into hondas where you live, talk to them and pick their brain, maybe they will even help you.

good luck!
