Just picked up a white 98 ITR yesterday. So far I love it. I also have a 05 Scion TC that I'm selling. Basically trading that for the R. Had a 500hp 11 second DSM before but this car is by far the coolest car I've had. Needs an alignment and some love, but overall its in great shape. Gets a nice car alarm this week, and a tune up. Not 100% sure what to do tune up wise. What fluids or parts to replace.
So far, all I'm thinking of doing is maybe an intake and header, but doesn't seem worth it.

I have to agree with BlueR on this one.

Uhh, I posted pictures.
96k miles. Car is in near perfect shape though.
Only issue so far is stereo has some alternator whine, and it pulls to the left.
Any good tips on keeping her safe? Any tips of stuff I need to do for a tune up? Any good parts that are must haves?

Make sure you have a good ground on your radio, that should fix the whine.
A good rule of thumb is to always replace (tune-ups) with OEM Honda parts.
I wouldn't think there are any "must have" parts for the ITR. It comes almost perfect straight from the factory.

Radio is getting redone anyways. Has an alpine deck, xtant amps, JL sub, and some sorts of speakers, but I have a whole system from my Scion ready to go in. CDT speakers/sub. Cadence amps. Pioneer deck.
Any good places to get OEM parts? I know for Mitsu parts there are tons of good online places to order dealer parts at 20-30% off list.

Do a search for the Honda-Tech Members BERT-O and Len. Both provide great prices and great service.
For brakes use either Cobalt or Carbotech (talk to both first and go with whichever you feel more confortable with, both make good pads and sell good brake-related parts). Do this before you do a track event (if you plan to) or just when you need new brake pads, etc.
As for the tune-up, unless you know for sure that this work has already been done, replace the timing belt, water pump, timing belt tensioner, fuel filter, wires, plugs, dist cap, dist rotor. If it's a stock clutch you might want to plan on replacing it soon also. Do a valve adjustment (either yourself or have a honda dealership do it, it's easy to do though so buy the tools and do it yourself).
If you work on your cars yourself, but a Helm manual (www.helminc.com). The helm manual is the factory service manual and is more complete than a chilton/etc.
Do a tranny fluid flush, coolant flush and oil change on it. For tranny fluid you can use any number of fluids, but Honda MTF is fine. Honda coolant is fine also, but I generally use whatever is most quickly available (which is never honda coolant for me). Oil, use whatever you want but a number of B18C motors tend to misplace Mobil1 oil. Use the OEM filters or a good aftermarket one (Bosch, Mobil1, etc).
That's about all I can think of for now. Use the search functionality of this site and you'll find a wealth of information. Also use the FAQ thread for a decent list of threads.
If you place on tracking the car (by that I mean participating in High Performance Driver Education [HPDE] events, aka lapping days, track days, etc) then check out the Integra Type-R Expo 5 thread in the top of the forum. You can come to just watch and hang out as well. The event is in Nebraska this year which is decently close compared to us "east coast" people
Oh, and have fun.

Yes I work on my own cars but I'll just have my friend do the valves and everything on this one. He has a 600hp GSR and runs an awesome shop that had done tons of awesome hondas.
No plans on racing the car, just enjoy it for now. Previous owner said all the maintance was done at 75k miles (timing belt, water pump,...) but I didn't get reciepts. I'll inspect the parts and check.
Clutch feels stiff but I have no idea if its aftermarket or replaced.
