ALright so i was just offered a trade for a 99EK hatch. It's silver, and BONE STOCK. It does have a messed up transmission though. In this case, it'd be a no-brainer (to trade.) However...the car carries a SALVAGED TITLE. Apparently the vehicle is still cosmetically sound, though.....would you guys do it?

I probably would not, but thats because I like 92-95 civics. But if the car is sound other than the tranny, the salvage title would'nt bother me, until its time to sale it.

 

title wont bother me either by the way ur going to a motor swap right??? who cares about the tranny!

 

i dont think i would do a trade for your car for that if it has a salvage title, as you could get a decent amount for your's possibly if you wait for the right buyer. then you can at least buy a 96 or newer with a clean title for $4k (in the right place) and up.

 

I would if you were planning on keeping it for awhile. Espicaly if you are just sick of your car now. I personaly get like that and just need something new to me. Also I would looking into either how much to fix the tranny or if you have the cash do a swap

 

Just got back from seeing the car, I wasn't satisfied with the condition so I'm keeping my car. I guess i'll wait until i find the right one -- it's either that or SOHC boost powwwaa..
