Squeek when clutch is pushed in.
lack of lubrication with the pedals i forget exactly what it is called but my landcruiser did the same thing come wheel grease fixed that prob
do a search... it's a common integra problem.
Mine's been squeaking for a while now, and I havn't been able to quiet it down. We've traced it to the clutch lever that goes into the tranny, and I think the only way to lube it is to remove the tranny

Hangin' tough.
I've decided a louder exhaust and stereo is the solution to my squeaking problems. I've got an awesome new squeak down by my feet when I go over bumps. It's mind rattling.

Generally caused by the throw out bearing not being lubricated on the input shaft, so I guess you could say the input shaft not being lubricated but I figured I'd get a snide remark if I just put that
Lubing my shaft up fixed mine
for a week or so anyways.

Along the same topic, but my clutch makes a whirling noise when the car is idling in neutral. It stops when the clutch is depressed. I figure it may be the throw out bearing as well. Any thoughts? It doesn't seem to be a major problem

Sounds about right. If you still have the warranty on the car, have the dealer do it

As far as I can tell, this is pretty normal. When my R was under warranty, I complained like a ***** to the dealer. They brought in the North East rep to listen to it. We all heard what I heard, but we determined it was normal.
A short while later, the common problem of springs snapping on the clutch plate occured. This was replaced under warranty, but I still have the "whirring" noise you describe with clutch out.

The first thing you should do is find out where its coming from.
Is it coming from the shaft that goes through the fire wall (hooks the clutch pedal to the master cylinder). This is an easy fix, simply take a q-tip and put some lub on it and smear it all up, in and around the shaft and the boot.
It could also be coming from the clutch lever. This you might be able to do with out taking off the tranny, but it'll be difficult. You could take of the slave cylinder and lube where the slave cylinder pushes on the lever. You can also try to reach in where the boot is and lube the the pivot point (very hard to do, but can be done with some long q-tips or something that'll reach in the hole).
Last but not lease, is the throw out bearing, which would require a tranny drop to fix.

A likely source of the noise is where the slave cylinder contacts the clutch lever.
You could probably inspect it and relube by pulling the dust boot back. It may be easier to remove the two bolts holding the slave cylinder to the tranny so you can get full access.
I bought one used car that had no grease at this joint and it made quite a bit of noise.

Mine did this as well. Each oil change I complained, each time they lubed, and each time within a week or so it came back.
So the last time I took it in, I told them I was tired of them lubing it and wanted it fixed. They told me they would have to take out the transmission. I told them I didn't care what they did since the problem log showed I had been complaining about it before my warranty required.
So they took the whole thing apart. When they got to the part they thought was squeaking, they noticed it was nice and lubed and couldn't think of a reason it should be squeaking, so they redid my whole clutch under warranty.
One month later, no squeaky. I'm happy. hehe

Same here.. the squeaking is as annoying as hell! From reading posts here I thought it would be the slave cylinder so I had that replaced.. But it still squeaked... It only squeaks when its cold but after 5 mins of driving (after warming up the car of course) it goes away. For the people who has replaced their clutch with a non honda one... has the squeak ever come back? If it hasn't... does this mean that the fault is with the honda parts?

Say hello to the infamous integra clutch squeek. There is no known positive cure. Its like herpes...theres a few things you can do to quiet it down for a while, but it'll always come back.
not just integras, my 2000 si has been doin this for about the past 40000 miles i put on it. i have 79ish now. really annoying till it warms up a bit, but never really goes away. i feel like the whole clutch is just gonna blowed up on me one of these days. o well, itll give me a reason to do a engine swap. g/l fixin it.
