The meet was good but there are a couple of things that can be really improved to make things better.
First it was too ******* cold (lol) and we need to have this meet again when it gets warmer.
Second we need to reserve hooters atleast half of it, a couple of days prior so we can all sit down together and talk.
The street races were okay, but it was too cold to stand outside. After miller and 00ls left delancy street, a lot of locals showed up and put up a good show.
Profile, your car will be running hard once it comes out, I can't wait.
To the kid in the green gsr - get some new wires and next time u will be hurtin people on delancy.

I agree....things need to be better organized. First off drove all the way the hell up there and we were sitting there, then all the sudden everybody gets in their cars not saying "hey we're goin to hooters" The everybody is driving around the parking lot in circles who's goin this way and that way.....it was nothing but a headache. Then people just start flying all over the lot and on to RT 17.....like guess what half of the people there didn't know where every body went. Me and the other people thought that yesterday sucked. That was definetly not worth my gas to go up there!! Sorry everybody just needed to vent.

It was 2 F@#Kin COLD 2 stand around like idiots, but we all have to admit we love this hobby to meet up and have sum fun in da cold. We at least had sum runs this time

Besides the cold, the races turned out to be pretty damn good. 12 sec all motor eg vs. built turbo gsr vs. supercharged vr6. It was the best runs I've seen in..... the past few days...

I agree...it was cool to see all the nice teggies out there, but too many clicks. I pulled up and got out (one of the first cars there) and said hi to the guys that were there already and they looked at me like "what are you doing here" Then nobody really said anything to anybody at the meet unless you knew them already, then all of a sudden everyone jumps in their cars and takes off, and no one knows whats going on. We finally get to hooters, and noone really gets to talk cause we were too big of a crowd If I had known thats where we were going, I could have helped you all out, my best friend/teammate was working there while we were there, and she could have helped us all out. Oh well, next time hopefully will be better organized. It was good to see all the nice rides though.

 

To everyone who said that they didn't get to meet anyone, blame it on the cold. The last meet was a lot better and A LOT longer. We hung out outside BSing for hours. I met tons of new people. When the spring comes and the temp isn't below freezing we'll organize another one of these.

WOW, no need to get so pissed. Just saying it wasn't well organized. I have been to many meets for cars before, one being saturday night before the integra meet sunday, and it was much more organized. Someone told people what was goign on. Not just everyone jumping in cars and taking off, leaving people that are unfamiliar with the area to either just go home, or attempt to find the place themselves. I hope it was just becuase it was so cold out. Oh well, next time.

Hey I want to apologize for sounding like a jerk. It's just that drove 150 miles round trip and it wasn't a great time. Thats all I was mainly trying to point out. If there was to be another one maybe try asking for some ideas on how to make it better. It's just a thought. I'm sure everybody would throw there 2 cents in. You know what I mean.

 

When the spring rolls around, give the meet another try. It'll be a lot better.

 

Well, I couldn't make it to this one, but the first one was pretty cool because the weather was decent. I guess the next meet should be when it's warmer. We should also try and stay TOGETHER. It's very easy to get lost trying to find Hooters if you're not familiar with the area. Let's not be so negative guys...and girls. If we stay positive and proactive AND organized about these meets we could really start something good--who knows, maybe even a HONDA/ACURA---hint, hint guys. Oh well, just my $.02

 

if i can throw in a suggestion,,,,i think the next time we have this meet we should meet in the parking garage.. although i didnt really enjoy myself this sunday i think i would deffinatly go again...i think we can all blame the cold for this one..maybe the next one should be around april. there were alot of nice cars there, my personal favorite was the silver civic hatchback. im sorry that i didnt get to talk to the owner of this car. but if your reading this.,.,.,.nice car man. also the integra with the cali body kit. i talked to you for a couple of minutes nice car as well.

 

yah no doubt about it the next one (when ever as long as its over 45 degrees) will be better. i know for a fact that the cold had a lot to do with it. i still had a good time even though it was cold, meeting up with old friends new friends that ive just met and people that i met at the other meets. maybe the next one we can have at englishtown so that we can do some legal racing.
i will do my best to make sure that my car will be at the next one, and hopefully smoke free heh
