Default Skunk 2 Stage 2

Anyone out there running Skunks in a 2.0 what kind of results did you get after tuning. Motor has 11.5 comp.

Really needs more compression - lots of duration on these cams.

11.5 perfect for skunk2 stage 2 cams...more compression the better...but that is fine....

Thats "enough" compression, but it really isn't the sweet spot for those cams.

The Car was on the Dyno for 3 runs it hit 206hp and 139 torque it still needs some more tuning. the Valvetrain was making some noise so they pulled it off to check it out.

Thanks for the reply's

that's pretty much where you should be. A friend of mine had a 2.0 lsvtec with similar jun cams and put down 208hp. I put 190 in a 1.8 12:1 compression. That was without cam gear tuning which most likely would have resulted in some more hp, tq wasn't bad at 135.

My friend brad (shift@8k) hit 198whp with stage 2's in his USDM H22 stock compression. I would have liked to seen it with a decent set of pistons.
