Curious if this has happened to anyone?
Shortly after work I received a call from my wife stating that our 94 Accord wont start. My first thought is that she may have left the door ajar or the lights on. But she is quite good about making sure everything is on the up and up. I arrive to jump the car, which I am concerned about, because I keep our vehicles in tip top condition. Anyway it turns out that the battery cable clamps are completely loose and can lift directly off of the terminal posts! I'm baffeled thinking someone was f@!#ing with the car, but the security is really tight where she works. So to keep it short, im thankful that the bimmer has a set of tools located in the trunk...tightened the clamps down and off she went.
Anyone experience this situation? I'm assuming the cold may have been a factor, but who knows?

Yea something I would watch for....also if you over tighten the connectors the terminals will actually get crushed but the tightening clamp. The terminal is a somewhat soft metal.
My guess would be vibrations from the road, driving etc may cause the terminal/connection to come loose. Easy fix though
