Default Car doesn't start sometimes

Basically, what the title says. One day last week when going to school, car decides to not start. Didn't have the time to figure out what was wrong, I had it towed to a repair shop and took my brother's car to school. When it got there, started up just fine for them. That day, the car would crank normally but just wouldn't start up. They did some looking around, but found nothing besides saying I needed some more oil and new spark plugs. I added some oil but haven't gotten around to putting in the spark plugs.

Now yesterday, it decided not to start again, same symptoms, would crank but not start up. Left it in the garage all night, and it started up this afternoon. Ran fine after starting, just like normal.

I do have two check engine codes going right now (although, no light while driving); codes 22 and 41 which are VTEC pressure valve and Primary oxygen sensor heater. Would either of these cause the car not to start? The engine has no problem hitting VTEC and revving all the way to redline, no power loss is felt. Could the old spark plugs also be a reason? Both times it didn't start, it had rained the night before, could something be getting wet to cause it not to start?

Any suggestions appreciated (sorry for the long post).

The wet weather could be making the spark plug wires ground out if they are bad wires. On a dry day, take a squirt bottle and spray the wires then listen for a bad idle. Id susgest changing the plugs too if the shop told you to. Oil level, vtec pressure and oxygen sensor wouldn't make it start bad. Your oxygen sensor isnt even used until your car is warm.

thanks for the reply

After a few more days and more rain, I'm thinking something electrical is getting wet as the problem only comes when it rains. Any further opinions?
