Default Short Shifter Opinion's

Hey, well I've been reading my *** off for hours now and I can't seem to choose a short shifter. The 2 I had in mind were the skunk2 and the evasive. I've read the pros and cons for both but I still dont know the feeling for both. What do you guys think I should get?

Check out this website. It may be a little pricy, but well worth it.

Had a generic eBay aluminum short shifter. Shifts were short and it never broke on me...can't complain since it did its job.

Switched to a Skunk2 dual bend with ES poly bushings over the summer and it's a vast improvement over the eBay shifter I had. Throws are very smooth and precise, height of the shifter is close to stock, and the positioning of the dual bend is awesome. I got mine for 100 shipped off of eBay, so it was a fairly good price.

How much further back does the double bend position the shifter **** in 1/3/5 gears as opposed to stock? I was used to the closeness of the shifter in my last car, when I got my Civic it felt like I was just about bending over to reach for the shifter. Totally adjusted now though, but wouldnt mind having it TEENY bit closer. And christ, its not like my seats way back, I'm 5'8" for christs sake!
