looks to me like it was one of Enzo's headers which would make it a headertech header.

the description says burns style merge collector. that does not look like a merge collector at all. it looks like a stamped collector.

There was recently a thread posted under the classifieds section, if I was smart enough I'd give the link, but it's an EXACT duplicate of the true jdm type r header....only it's painted black. I can't remember who builds it, but they get a for copying honda to make a header. HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE on imitations

the type r does not step from 1.5 to 1.75 to a 3 in merge... when my boy gets it in ill take some better pics. so we can figure it out. but def not a knockoff of any jdm header ive ever seen...... link this around or pass it around. help me out. i may want to buy it off him if i can figure out if it is a quality piece. looks good in the pics and the descrip anyway. i was thinking one of enzos early headertech mild steel pieces but i have not seen any pics, the description of both read similer though. hollar all you know it alls. hehe im kidding.

i've never seen a JDM 4-1 stepped three times with a 3 inch 3 bolt collector. A 4-1 design is nothing new, honda certainly didn't invent it.

keep in mind that's just where the guy is that's selling it. Doens't mean it was made there. Could be a customer all the way across the country that bought it and is now selling it.

just my .02.

i still say headertech

That's Definitely not one of my headers. Weld's look terrible! Also my steps are in different locations. Overall it looks pretty bad but hey he got it cheap enough to where if it doesn't work he's not losing much.

And Yes that is not a merge collector. It's a formed collector.

I make everything in stainless now with real merge collectors.

hes willing to sell it if anyone is interested. hasnt been used since the auction close. including 3" to 2.25" collector reducer (should be cut to 2.5 for best results) head flange ports have been bored open and polished. yeah it has shitty welds, but 150 shipped is a hell of a deal for a custom race header with a 3inch collector.
