Mountaindru,

The '94 Accord is a great car to start with. If I had known better, I would have started with OBDI, so the '94 is perfect.

The DX comes with an F22B2, which is a SOHC 2.2L non-VTEC. It makes about 130 horsepower. The DX has 14" rims and no power windows/door locks, etc.

The LX comes with the same F22B2, but has power features and has 14" rims as well. (The '96-97 LX has 15"rims.)

The EX comes with power everything, you can get leather interior (not sure if you can on the LX or not?), and it comes stock with 15" alloys. The engine horsepower is bumped up to 145. This is because the engine (F22B1) is the same 2.2L SOHC, but it has VTEC and a much better stock header and exhaust.

Hope this helps for starters. I'll give you some more in-depth specs once I do some research.

Which model of the accord depends on your driving ( daily driver, strip, street race)
I got the LX to save money; but with plans to rebuild the block anyway. So what are your intentions?

definately get the EX. 94-95 EX's are not expensive at all these days with moderate mileage. they come with the 2.2. vtec(its SOHC but alteast it got VTEC) plus you get the nice looking 15" alloy wheels and nice looking dual tip exhaust. its worth it, oh yeah you also get a sunroof.

I would get a 94/95 accord ex coupe 5spd (hard to fine) one with a ton of miles, drop in a h22a, and your off..........also, isnt it hubcaps instead of rims?
