Ive got a Skank2 IM on my LS and it didnt come with a place for the FITV. Well it wasnt that big of a deal holding the gas to let it warm up...but now that its cold it really sucks. Im tired of freezing my *** off for 5-10 minutes waiting for the car to warm up.

So was wondering...is it possible to remotely mount it? I was thinking of making a plate to bolt the FITV onto...then mounting it onto the firewall. Ive heard of people doing this for IACV's when they do ITB's...but i couldnt find anything on doing it to an FITV.

Do you think this would work? What else would i need besides longer coolant lines from the FITV to the IACV? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Nobody has any thoughts on this? And i know its gonna be harder than i made it seem...but im not afraid of a little work. I just want to know if it would actually work or not.
