Default Headwork for h22...

Just trying to garner some oppinions on who do you think would be the best person/place to send a head off to get good work done. And what would be considered a must do and what is also not needed..

Engine is a JDM type S already. And some setups I have seen rev to 9k consistently with stock head and built bottom end. Your thoughts.. ?

No he does not and either do I at this time.

But no offense to you. A web site doesn't = a legit business.

His number is 904-478-4480

Here's an example of his work. BTW, with my header, tuning and running this engine past 8200rpm we would have made 260bhp. Right in line with the shops from the Import Tuner B series shootout. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=965320

For whatever it's worth, he did some mild work on my ITR head. It was an important part of a very nice overall package, and I've never had a reason to complain or doubt his work.

Very tru but its always nice to be able to do some research on something before you even consider making a purchase. So sometimes where user experience is lacking a site can give you some ensite..

But thanks for the number I guess the second best thing is to actually talk to the owner and knowing that he has an engine dyno at least makes me know that he is serious..

Jason if you still intend to use the Skunk2 mani then you need to tell whoever does your headwork that. Make sure that they know what your goals are and your general setup, like bore/stroke, CR, cams, header so that it all compliments itself. Just a suggestion...

Yesh yesh that is why there experties would have to be extensive. But I am still deciding on whether our not to go the ITB route or the bored out stock mani and bigger single throttle body to match...

Not alot of useful information on these types of builds..
